The National Stem Cell Foundation of Australia
The Australian Stem Cell Centre was the national organisation that brings together and funds the country's leading stem cell research groups. In June 2011 the ASCC’s funding through the Australian Government drew to a close. Whilst the Centre has ceased operations we have ensured that your donation will be applied to grow and develop Australian Stem Cell Research. That is why on 17 August 2011 the ASCC established the National Stem Cell Foundation of Australia.
The Foundation is a registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and a fully ATO endorsed Australian charity for tax purposes. As a consequence, the Foundation enjoys deductible gift recipient status which means that all gifts, donations and bequests made to the Foundation are tax deductible in the hands of the person giving the gift, donation or bequest.
