The ASCC is committed to coordinating, facilitating and supporting networking activities to develop and grow the Australian stem cell research sector.
The ASCC will give consideration to supporting domestic and international meetings that aim to achieve the following:
- Stem Cell meetings or meetings that have a strong stem cell track which will expand the knowledge of Australian stem cell scientists.
- Meetings that aim to bring together the Australian stem cell research community to encourage collaboration.
- Biotechnology focused meetings where there is a clear benefit to promote the activities of the ASCC or stem cell science more generally.
- Meetings which enhance the public’s understanding of stem cell science.
- Other meetings considered of benefit to the ASCC or Australian stem cell science as determined by the ASCC executive and scientific management.
Sponsorship and support for meetings is at the discretion of the ASCC. The ASCC has a limited budget for the support of such meetings.
To be eligible for consideration meetings must be held before 30 June 2011.
